In the early 1970s, Cartier sought to make its luxury goods more accessible to a broader audience. This led to the creation of the "Must de Cartier" line, which introduced more affordable yet still high-quality products, including watches, accessories, and fragrances. These pieces were characterized by their understated elegance and the iconic Cartier branding.

Combining the classic Tank design with the affordability and allure of vermeil, the Must de Cartier Tank Vermeil watch quickly became a symbol of style and sophistication. Its sleek rectangular case, choice of colourful dials, and blue sapphire cabochon crown are emblematic of Cartier's design ethos.

This is a nice example with the lesser seen blue lapis or "Starry night" dial which is a dark blue in colour with gold specs. The case and buckle shows some light wear to the plating but otherwise in good condition all around.

The watch has been fully serviced with our in-house watchmaker and fitted on a new black lizard skin strap.
